Friday Music is honored to announce for the first time ever a deluxe compact disc release of the classic 1971 Davy Jones album Davy Jones/Th­e Bell Recordings (1971-72). Remastered by long time Monkees friend and fan Joe Reagoso (­The Monkees/Davy Jones), the original album is now augmented with six huge bonus tracks including the rare original 45 single version of Girl and the follow-up rare single of I’ll Believe In You.  The CD also includes new liners, rare memorabilia and the original artwork elements.

On February 29, 2012, we were all saddened to hear about the loss of the late great Davy Jones. He was always about the music and the fans. Th­is album was a labor of love for the folks here at Friday Music, and we believe it truly reflects another successful chapter in the genius of this legendary musical superstar’s story.  He will be sorely missed.
